Making Music From The Very First Note

The Summer Holidays, a time of year many parents are not only scratching their heads wondering how to fill those long summer days with activities for their kids, but actually finding something they might even enjoy. Of course there are all the traditional Summer Camp activities available, but not all children want to climb trees or swing on ropes, and for some, these group led courses can be very off-putting.

That's where our Musical Adventure Summer Camp sessions could provide the perfect way to give your child a fun and inspiring way to spend at least some of those long summer days.

The Next Rock God, A Diva In The Making, Or A Classical Master?

When it comes to learning an instrument, for many children, the first steps in making music will be to choose an instrument that they want to learn to play. Of course from a parents point of view, if you don't own an instrument, that can mean a considerable investment in an instrument that may not turn out to be the right one. To help make sure that doesn't happen, these taster sessions are a great way to try more than one instrument before committing to a purchase, get your hands on a Piano, Keyboard, Guitar, Ukulele, Drum Kit or Flute, by booking as many or as few sessions as you wish.

Joe, Amy and Annette are here to help you find your perfect noise making machine, and if you fancy your hand at Songwriting, our in-house composer Karl, will give you some great tips and insights into making your own music.

Where's The Venue & When Does The Gig Start?

Our Musical Adventure Summer Camp sessions take place at our Great Baddow Academy, situated on the well known Baddow Antiques Centre site (Follow the Brown road signs or Google CM2 7JW). Our team of instructors have opened up extra slots in their diaries right across the week, so just fill out the enquiry form below, or give Georgia and Annette a call on 01245 690560 or 01245 283527, and we will get you booked for what could be the start of a lifelong hobby or even a career.

Coffee, Quiet & Big Sofas

Whilst your child is having all this musical fun, you may be wondering where you can park yourself for those 60 minutes of well deserved quiet time. Well, it just so happens that our waiting room, which has access to all our teaching rooms, offers some of the comfiest sofas known to man. Whilst we don't recommend parents are present in the teaching rooms during the sessions, you can see and hear your child at all times.

Of course for very young children you need to remain on site during their session, but if you have older children, there is very nice Coffee shop just a few seconds away and Free parking right outside the door for those wanting to catch up with emails in your car. 

Can we Continue After The School Holidays?

Here at the Allegro Music Academy we offer lessons all year round, 7 days a week, from early til late, so when September comes along, you can then join the Allegro Music Academy as a regular student with a weekly lesson with your instructor.

Of course, by this point if you haven't already done so, you will need to purchase an instrument, and the Allegro Music Academy can also help with that.
