SHOULD YOU STOP LESSONS DURING THE HOLIDAYS?
Every Summer, Parents Ask The Same Question
The School Summer Holidays Doesn’t Have To Mean Putting Your Musical Journey On Hold.
As the school summer holidays begin, many parents ask themselves the question: ‘Should we take a break from music lessons?’ Whilst booking a holiday or two is important, taking an extended break from learning an instrument can hinder a student’s progress. Just like learning a language or playing a sport, music is a skill that builds through regular practise and consistency.
Many students find that after several weeks away from their instrument, they can become less confident in their ability, forget pieces they have been working on and will need a few lessons to get back to where they were before the break.
ARE YOU GOING AWAY FOR THE SUMMER?
Take Your Music Lessons With You!
Don’t Let The Summer Holidays Slow Your Progress, Stay On Track With Online Lessons
The summer is a time for holidays, family visits and travelling, but that doesn’t mean your music lessons have to stop. Many of our students spend part of the summer away with family, and our live lessons make it easy to continue learning wherever you are in the world. You will continue learning with the same teacher, at the same time, retaining your allocated space ready for when September comes around.
Using WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger, you can still attend your regular lesson virtually from almost anywhere in the world. All you need is a stable connection and a suitable device. For students who do not have access to an instrument, theory lessons are a great way to build on your musical knowledge.
