The Allegro Music Academy was formed over Forty Years ago with the intention of offering high quality music lessons that not only achieve excellent results, but offers a relaxed way in which to learn. We offer every type of music lesson to anyone and everyone - whatever your age or ability.
Based in Southend, Chelmsford, Great Baddow and Colchester, our modern purpose built teaching studios house a full range of the latest top quality instruments for use in lessons and for those students not wishing to bring their own instruments.

We have an excellent team of teachers here at the Academy that have been specifically chosen, not just because of their musical abilities, but also because of the way they can impart their knowledge to others. We feel a great teacher should not only offer top quality musical education, but make lessons a really fun and enjoyable experience.

When it comes to which instrument to learn, the Academy currently offers tuition on a wide range including; Piano, Keyboard, Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, Drums, Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet, Brass, Violin, Vocals, Song Writing and Theory.

You Don't Have To Be A Kid To Have Fun
We take great pride in making our lessons open to players of all ages and have many older learners enjoying the benefits of making music. Whether it's learning a new instrument from scratch or re-igniting a passion from the past, our teachers can help you to reach your goals and develop your musical knowledge.
Our lessons run 7 days a week, morning til late. If you need to work around the school run or miss the rush-hour traffic, we can find a space that suits you.
For all new students to the Academy, we offer a special deal where you can get your First 4 Lessons For The Price Of 2. We feel that the first lesson isn't always a true indicator of what future lessons will be like, so by completing a 4 week trial it gives you enough time to really settle into the lessons.
New student offer is available to students that have not had lessons at the Academy before & is limited to one special offer per student.
